The fingerprinting process typically takes around 15 minutes per person, including paperwork and scanning time. However, wait times may vary depending on appointment availability and the number of individuals being fingerprinted. Completing our Fingerprints Direct Pre-Registration Form (add link to the form here) can reduce this time.
You will need to bring a valid government-issued photo ID (such as a driver's license/State issued Identification Card, Passport, or Permanent Resident Card.) that shows your name and date of birth and any required documents provided by your employer, agency, or organization.
You will be required to provide the appropriate Agency Authorization Number, supplied by the agency or company requesting background check, and ORI number.
Fingerprint data is securely transmitted to the Maryland Criminal Justice Information System and used solely for the purpose requested. We adhere to strict privacy and security protocols to protect your information.
